Snowkids

Snowkids

They drop into this world
Uniquely as can be
Each one a single work of art
Just look and you shall see

The joy they bring all walks of life
And lighten up the air
Some ones drop out as single ones
Or more, such as a pair

Of course they’re not for everyone
And that is OK too
Cos if you like, you can go make
A snowman that’s in lieu

So know this poem is about
How snowflakes are like kids
They’re both as grand and complex as
The ancient Pyramids.

Explanation

Someone asked me to write a poem about the similarities between snowflakes and kids. Hey I dunno, blame the internet! If you want to suggest any to me, just tweet me @philverney.
