Dream Fairies
They hide away all small and quiet
And wait for suns to set
But only these small ones do know
Which dreams that we shall get
Each night when we’re all tucked up snug
They climb inside our minds
And set about to do their work
And make us dream all kinds
They’re sometimes nice and sometimes not
But jobs they have to do
The fairies of the dreaming state
Will sort a hitch or two
They fly around inside our minds
To file away our thoughts
It’s just like when your laptop makes
All of those ones and noughts
So sleep tonight and let them work
They know just what to do
Dream fairies off you go to work
Another day is new
