"Hello"

I came and saw you sitting there

While thousands did walk past

I knew at once when I saw you

I’ve found my one at last

Was it your eyes or your sweet smile

That made me sigh out loud?

I’d like the chance if you’d let me

To show you why I’m wowed

For me it’s hard to say “Hello”

I’m sure my face is red

I hope one day you’ll hold my hand

On newly paths we’ll tread

I realised that my choice was right

When you joined in with me

To point out why that thing is daft

Our mouths light up with glee

I’m so glad that I listened to

My heart which did convince

To take a chance and just say “hi”

Now proud to be your prince
